Ok, can we just take a moment to commend this family of 10 in how AMAZING they did in coordinating their outfits?!? Not only are they amazing human beings - seriously you're missing out if you don't know them - but they fine tuned every detail for this beach session!
We have a soft spot for extended family (legacy) sessions because we know how precious it is to capture your family in all the stages! This session was special to us not only because this family is one of a kind but they are a family with 3 daughters - and we come from a family of 4 daughters!
One of the sisters who flew into California had planned her outfit only to come and find that her other sister had the SAME EXACT OUTFIT chosen! Hilarious! They did a quick detour and all was well! But how funny they had the same clothes chosen? Great minds think alike, eh?
It was pretty blustery for the morning when we arrived but the sun literally came out right when we started shooting. There was *just* enough cloud coverage so we weren't squinting from the bright sand. We were able to capture the beautiful lighthouse in their photos and we even went down to the water towards the end of the shoot to get our toes wet.
If you ever have the chance to get your photos taken at the beach - DO IT! It's so worth it and the outcome is the best!
