HK CREATE
Hi there! We are HK CREATE: Heather and Kissy. We are a sister duo who are Bay Area natives. We're photographers, graphic designers, and artists who love to connect with people to create beautiful things! We hope to create something with you whether it be great photos, a custom art piece or a logo design!
A LITTLE BIT ABOUT HEATHER
I am the "H" in HK CREATE. The older yet shorter sister. I've been married to my husband Chris since 2014, and am enjoying every moment of married life! I have a background of teaching art, preschool and piano to kids (and occasionally adults!) and am currently the Director for the Sunday School program at my home church. I love photography because it still allows me to be creative in the arts, meet new people, and capture memorable moments in life behind the lens! I absolutely LOVE my family and can’t imagine life without them. My sisters are my best friends, and we genuinely love spending time together. I cherish being an auntie to my many nieces and nephews! Watching them grow up has been one of my greatest joys. I also love serving alongside my husband in ministry at our home church, and encouraging others in their walk with the Lord. I love Jesus and wouldn’t be anything without Him. He is so faithful and good, and I’m so thankful for His many blessings!
A few other things about me: I am super excited during football season. College or NFL–I’m rooting for my home teams! (GOOOOOOO San Jose State Spartans and San Francisco 49ers!) I also like playing games (it’s a great way to break the ice and get to know people!) and am pretty competitive. I enjoy watching the original Avengers Marvel movies, laughing at The Office and Parks and Rec, eating mouth-watering ice cream, playing the piano, and painting landscapes
FAVORITE THING ABOUT BEING A PHOTOGRAPHER:
Not only getting to be creative but meeting the many people we take photos of. I love hearing their stories and especially getting to see their kids grow up over the years - which is such a treasure

KISSY
- Jesus (and worshipping Him with music)
- Sharp pencils (literally makes me so happy!)
- Cheese-flavored products (YUM)
- Seeing people thrive
- Cream & Sugar with a “dash” of coffee (or a good chai latte)
- A good book
- Deep conversations (I'm awkward and fail at small talk)
- Being with my family (they are my favorite people)

A LITTLE BIT ABOUT KISSY
Kissy (the "K" in HK CREATE) is short for my real name Christianna. For some reason Heather, being 21 months older than me, decided to pronounce my real name as Kissy and I've been stuck with it ever since. I am a jack-of-all-trades and love creating things. I'm a pretty awkward person and an INFJ (for all who are interested but honestly I don’t look too much into it). I love deeply and I'm super close with my family. I play music and lead worship at churches in the Bay Area along with writing my own music. I also co-founded a non-profit called Worthy Movement. I'm pretty quirky and love making people laugh (or just laugh at my own jokes.) I've watched the Lord of the Rings Trilogy multiple times (and proud of it). I binge-watch Psych, Parks and Rec, The Office, Monk and have a soft spot for Napoleon Dynamite. My family is my life and any time I spend with them is a special day in my book. I love being an auntie to my awesome nieces and nephews, taking photos, and creating custom art that leave lasting memories.
FAVORITE THING ABOUT BEING A PHOTOGRAPHER?
Connection. We could be complete strangers walking one other any other day, but because of photography I'm able to know their stories, what makes them laugh, and am able to be a part of a memorable moment in their lives.
