How do I book my session with you? Go ahead and fill out our contact form with all the necessary information. Once we have set a date that works for you, a retainer fee is required upon booking your session in order to reserve your spot for that date. Full payment will be due 2 days prior to your session. (We accept VENMO or credit card upon booking.)
What if I need to reschedule or cancel my session? Please give us a 24 hour notice before cancelling. All booking fees are non-refundable and do not apply for a rescheduled date.
What if there are poor weather conditions on the day of my photoshoot? Will I get a refund of my booking fee? As Bay Area Natives, we know that California can have fickle weather at the drop of a hat! Whether (pun intended) rain or poor air quality due to fires, we want you to have the best experience and lighting for your photos. If we choose to cancel, we will offer an additional date to reschedule your shoot and apply the previously paid retainer fee to the new rescheduled session.
When is the best time of day for an outdoor photoshoot? We absolutely LOVE golden hour which is 1 hour before the sun sets. Golden hour provides the best light for skin tones with soft, glowy light creating magical results! If you need to have an earlier session, we find a location that provides the best area for light and airy photos.
What should I wear for my photoshoot? We love helping out with outfits! Upon booking, we send you our complete outfit style guide. We give suggestions and ideas for color schemes to create timeless photos. Send us your ideas and we can work with you to create the perfect look for you!
What if I’m running late to my session? We understand there may be factors in making you late, but your session time will begin and end at the original scheduled time as we may have other sessions scheduled around yours. We suggest arriving early to your session in case of any mishaps.
Do you photograph pets? Yes! We love fur-babies and know they are a special part of your family!
Does my fur baby count as a subject in the session? Yes! Fur babies count as a subject and are welcome to join your session if the location allows!
When will I receive my images? It takes up to 2 weeks for us to edit your images after your session. An additional fee will be applied for faster turnaround if requested. *one month turnaround for weddings
How do I receive my images? We send a digital link to your email with your fully edited, high resolution, downloadable digital images. It's very convenient to download to your device!
Do you give out raw (unedited) photos? No, we do not. Each image is intentionally edited to fit our style and we want you to have the best photos you can possibly receive!
How long is my download link available? Your photos are available to download for up to one month. Be sure to download all your photos onto your device when you receive them.
Do you give black and white images as well as color? Yes, we do! We put time and care into every edited photo! There's a re-edit fee if you would like your black and white photo to be re-edited in color.
Do you travel for sessions outside of the Bay Area? There is a travel fee for any sessions or events outside of our travel radius.
Can I have just one sneak peek from my session before the 2-week turnaround time? As excited as you may be to see just ONE photo (believe us - we’re just as excited for you to see them, too!), we do not offer sneak peeks. We want you to have the best gallery of all your images and be able to choose from the variety for yourself! If you can’t wait 2 weeks, we do offer a guaranteed faster turnaround (2-day or 1-week) for an additional fee.
Where are you located? We are located in the San Jose Bay Area and have been Bay Area natives all our lives - and proud of it! Although, we’re still uncovering new areas and locations and are always excited when we find something we love. ;-)
