Spring High School Grad Photoshoot at Filoli Garden, Woodside by HKCreate Bay Area Photographers

Most times before our high school grad photoshoots begin, we hear...
"I'm awkward in front of the camera" or "I'm not photogenic or great at getting my photos taken."
And right away we tell them not to worry about any of that because you don't have to be a model to get great photos! We just tell them to be themselves and have fun because the best "YOU" to photograph is the REAL you!
Once this high school grad became comfortable and confident in front of the camera, her true personality shined – and we love how her photos turned out! Though spring is the busiest season at Filoli Historic House and Garden in Woodside, it is the most beautiful – especially when the magnolias, daffodils, tulips and other variety of colorful flowers are in bloom.
While we're all for using color, we usually recommend going with white or neutral toned outfits for that timeless, whimsical feel, especially when you're surrounded by blooming gardens and flowers. This grad rocked two outfits for her photoshoot, and we absolutely loved the soft pastel blue dress she wore at the end—it looked amazing with the purple flowers around her!
