Joy-filled Big Brother Family Maternity Session | HK Create Bay Area Photography | Vasona Lake Park, Los Gatos

It truly is a blessing to see our HK fam start their own families and watch them grow! We met this awesome couple when they were expecting their first baby, and we hit it off right away during their maternity session. They are such kind and genuine people and truly it felt like we were just hanging out! So when they asked us to capture their baby's 3-month, 6-month, and 9-month photos, we had a blast getting to know them better each time! (They even gave us gifts as a thank you, which was the sweetest thing!)
Fast forward to now! Their first kid isn't a baby anymore but a cool little dude throwing hang loose signs and looking like a carbon copy of his dad! When we heard they were expecting again, we were SO excited for them! And we were thrilled they wanted us to be part of this new chapter!
This family always rocks the best outfits with neutral colors, and the mom always gets her hair and makeup done and looks stunning! (If you're thinking about getting your hair and makeup done for a photoshoot, we always say GO FOR IT! Just go for simple, natural makeup to enhance your features! You don't need to go overboard, but it's always nice to feel pretty and get some great photos, haha!)
At the start of their session, the little guy was a bit shy, but after a few minutes, he started being silly and made us all laugh. We captured some beautiful lake views with fall leaves at Vasona Lake Park in Los Gatos. It was warm for October, but thankfully not as hot as the week before!
We love catching up with our HK families and chatting about life. It's amazing that we get to call this "work" while making friends and meeting such wonderful people!
