We love exploring new places! In this instance it was exploring a new area of a location we had already photographed! Lake Chabot Regional Park in Castro Valley boasts greens lawns, a beautiful view of the lake, and many trails for the avid hiker!

A previous HKCreate Fam had referred us to this family of four (we're so glad they did!) and they were hoping we could travel to this location. We had been to Lake Chabot Regional Park back in the wintertime but are so glad we got to see it in the summer! We photographed this family amongst the beautiful trees letting in soft glowy light, the bursts of color in a little garden spots, and the vast landscape for some epic scenic shots!

One of our current HKCreate Fams gave this awesome family of four a shout-out to us (and we're so glad they did!). They wanted us to check out this spot, and while we’ve been to Lake Chabot Regional Park in the winter, seeing it in the summer was a real treat especially with all the vibrant green colors of the grass and trees! We snapped some amazing shots of this family surrounded by gorgeous trees with their soft, glowing light, bright colors in little garden areas, and the wide-open landscape for some stunning scenic photos!

Having two kids under the age of 4 for a family photoshoot can be stressful but we've got you covered! We provide a lengthy and extensive outfit and session guide on how best to prepare your kids for your photoshoot (as well as mom and dad!) so you don't need to stress and can enjoy every minute of your session!

Stressed parents leads to stressed kids, resulting in cranky expressions in photos, which means zero fun!

These parents read our session style guide and were prepared for anything! They had snacks at the ready, a great blanket to play with, water for in-between shots, and carefree attitudes that lent to such a fun photoshoot!

We played ring-around-the-rosie, strolled along the walkways, visited the lake, and munched on treats in-between!

We absolutely love the outcome of these photos because they truly capture the fun, energetic, and easygoing family these people are!

When in doubt of having a photoshoot with young kids, we say: Relax! Have fun! And let them run wild!

We are so grateful for our experience with HK Create. Heather and Kissy were professional, organized, and incredibly easy to work with, but what stood out most was how warm and comfortable they made the entire session feel.

Family photos with little kids can easily be stressful, yet they created such a relaxed atmosphere that we were all able to enjoy ourselves. Heather and Kissy exceeded our expectations in every way. We received not only beautiful family portraits, but also so many candid, playful, and meaningful images that captured our family so well in this season of life.

We are beyond thankful for their talent, patience, and professionalism, and for making the entire experience feel so easy and enjoyable. The final gallery absolutely blew us away.
