We were totally surprised when we arrived at Rockaway Beach in Pacifica for this maternity session and found all these wildflowers! The coolest part was that the mom-to-be had a floral ring, and we were so stoked for the meaningful connection!
The colorful blue of her dress was just the perfect hue against the vibrant green cliffs and the crashing blue waves!
When we drove up about 30 minutes before the session, it was all dismal gray and gloomy with overcast clouds, BUT the sun broke through RIGHT BEFORE the couple showed up. It was a total 180º from dark clouds to fluffy white ones and blue skies. Seriously, we couldn't make this up – time and time again, we ask the Lord to clear the weather, and every single time, He goes above and beyond what we ask and shows off what He can do!
We LOVE – like absolutely, positively LOVE – when our clients are down to get their toes wet for a beach session. Like, come on! It's the beach! You just HAVE TO! And when these two said they were game, we were so excited to get some beautiful shots in the waves during sunset.
These two were a dream to photograph because they were so sweet and kind and up for anything we suggested. Kudos to dad who was willing to get his jeans wet in the waves – anything for the photo!
