Located in the Los Gatos hills, Vasona Lake Park in the Bay Area is a photographer's hot spot because of its variety and gorgeous lake views. This is a big park and has many great things about it. Tall trees, large fields, lake views, bridges, creeks, trains, and more!

PARKING

There is a parking fee for the park, but there is also free streetside parking located on University Avenue.

FEES

$6 Entrance/Parking Fee

ACCESSIBILITY

This park has a variety of smooth pavement, grass fields, and bridges. There are many public restrooms throughout the park. It is wheelchair accessible with handicap parking inside the park.

PETS

This is a pet-friendly location, fur babies are welcome!

DOWNSIDES

Vasona Park is huge! It can be challenging to find us at the area we will take your photos, so we usually have our meeting place at the bridge overlooking the creek near the lakeside of the park.

During the holidays, there is the Festival of Lights so the park does have Christmas lights set up all around the park which limits the amount of areas to take photos.

There are geese everywhere, but for the most part they will leave you alone.

It can be crowded on weekends and holidays, especially during the summertime.
