THE COUPLE
Whitney and Mikey are such a cute couple. We met them at a coffee shop and hit it off right away.
They've known each other over the years and started dating a little after that. They wanted their wedding to be small and intimate with more of a cocktail party feel with close family and friends.
THE WEDDING
Picchetti Winery has many eclectic elements to it. Rustic wood barns, large winery vats, and random, vibrant peacocks roaming the venue. The Ceremony was held in the backyard of a vintage two-story house (from the original owners!) overlooking the Bay Area.
The Bride and Groom said their vows under a giant oak tree and had so many personal touches throughout the ceremony. In honor of "movember", the men attending were asked to groom their facial hair for this occasion. (We saw some pretty unique and outrageous handlebar mustaches!)
The Groom's brother started off the night with facial hair puns ("We mustache you to please refrain from flash photography") and the Groom's dad officiated the ceremony. We knew we were in for a ride when he started out with the Princess Bride marriage quote VERBATIM. (Seriously, you can't NOT laugh at that scene! "Mawwiage is what bwings us here together today...")
The sweet couple said their "I do's" as the sun went down and the party began with a large charcuterie board and homemade cookies and wine from the Picchetti winery.
Whitney and Mikey went with the flow on their wedding day. They cherish their loved ones and had so many homemade personal touches in every single thing!
