THE COUPLE
To say Davida and Noah are a delight to photograph is an understatement. We've known Noah since he was 2 years old, and met Davida when we took their prom photos a few years back.
THE PROPOSAL
We were ecstatic when Noah asked us to capture his "surprise" proposal to Davida with the guise of gifting her with a surprise Valentine's Day Photoshoot!
We had been joking about it, but we have taken photos of all the pivotal times in Noah and Davida’s relationship. From family photos, to a surprise proposal, to an amazing beach engagement session, our hearts melted when they both said there was no other option than for us to be their wedding photographers!
These two are the sweetest with a side of sarcastic which is exactly our jam! We love joking with them but also having true conversations with them. They love the Lord and invited Him into their relationship and it’s been such a beautiful thing to see their journey up till now.
Fun fact: They had their ring CUSTOM-MADE and designed it THEMSELVES!
THE WEDDING
Nella Terra Cellars is a gorgeous location nestled in the Sunol hills and tucked away from the busy city. With breathtaking views and miles of golden hills with meandering cows. This weekend we had back to back weddings in 100º heat but there was a gentle breeze throughout the day - thank the Lord!
BEFORE THE CEREMONY
We started the day out at the salon where Davida was getting ready with our good friend, Amanda, doing the hair and makeup. We headed over to the bridal suite at the venue and were able to capture the bridesmaids and bride portraits in an air conditioned room (yay!). The guys were hanging out in the little house below and had a bocce ball pit for entertainment and relaxation before the ceremony.
THE CEREMONY
Talk about the ceremony! The bride’s grand entrance was epic to say the least! She came down a grand, long staircase within the vineyard. We saw tears on Noah’s face and were able to capture the perfect moment between mother and son almost as he was saying, “This is the day we’ve been waiting for!”. They shared a time of intimate communion with one another and the moment between the bride and groom was so precious. After the ceremony, we took the bridal party aside for photos - and they were a fun group for sure!
COUPLE PORTRAITS
After the bridal party photos, it was time for the “exhale” part of the day when we get to spend one-on-one time with the just married couple by taking their portraits! Hello beautiful areas to photograph as well as amazing models!
