When our longtime HK Family has baby number three, we trek the 2 hour trip to capture their newest addition!

We've been with this family for every maternity and newborn session and can we tell you how privileged we are as Bay Area family photographers to be able to see their story unfold over the years?

Mom and dad wanted to keep baby number three's gender a secret until she was born (only to find out dad accidentally found out and had to keep it a secret for months!) and we celebrated with them when they found out it was a girl!

Big brothers were so sweet with her and we loved watching them interact with her. We helped mama choose outfits and we absolutely LOVED her choice of dress from BalticBorn! So beautiful and such a flattering style for post-bump mamas!

We had planned for a different location prior to baby girl's arrival but figured a long trek for them might be too much so we scouted out areas on google earth and landed on a couple ideas. We centered down on one location – the cutest little lavender farm in the Central Valley: Pageo Lavender Farm in Turlock! Since it was in the spring, the lavender had yet to bloom but we were able to photograph on site and it was such a cute location – perfect for a newborn session!

We met one of the owners while we were scouting the area and he gave a mini tour about the transformation of the site over the years. We love the history, the cute little shop, and all of the neat details all over the site. If you're ever looking for a fun location to visit, we highly recommend this one!
