We were a bit nervous prior to this maternity beach session because the weather forecast looked pretty dismal (but isn't that always the case whenever we plan sessions in Pacifica, haha?) When we arrived at Rockaway Beach in Pacifica, the mist was thick, but cleared up pretty quick while we were scouting out areas! We love clouds, and this spring session did not disappoint with a gorgeous sunset!

When our couple arrived, we could not stop raving about mama's dress! It's a pattern we've been dying to photograph for a while now, and we were so excited with how well it worked at this location.

The vibrant greens of the grassy hills from recent rains looked amazing, and the high tide and big waves made for a gorgeous backdrop.

Our couple didn't want to get wet (as it was pretty chilly!), so we decided to stay on the cliffs for some breathtaking panoramic views. (We did try hiking a bit higher on the trail to Aramai Point but decided against it since we got amazing views from the lower cliffs without getting out of breath! 😆)

This was the sweetest couple, and we had a blast getting to know and hang out with them. We wrapped up the session down below and had to stop every couple minutes for just "one more photo!" because the sunset did NOT disappoint with AMAZING orange and pink hues – a perfect end to a beautiful session!
