There's just something therapeutic about holding a puppy. All the cuddles and adoration in their eyes. Warms the heart!

Most of the Santa Clara University grad photoshoots we've had lately have been with large groups (which we absolutely LOVE!) so when we got an inquiry for a solo grad session with a PUPPY we were so excited – because we LOVE puppies!

Having a grad photoshoot in late April was the BEST time to have a photoshoot at the SCU Campus because we had almost the whole grounds to ourselves! The golden light was chef's kiss and our grad was stunning in her beautiful dress.

It was so cute watching the boyfriend juggle the bag of things, squeezing the puppy toy, and Face-timing the grad's mom so she could be a part of the photoshoot! We snuck him in for a couple photos as well and we love capturing couples at the university!

Wondering what the best time is to schedule your grad photoshoot? We recommend planning before the crowds, during springtime and golden hour! We were so happy to get these magical glowy photos--especially in front of the Mission along the Abbey Sobrato Mall at the Santa Clara University Campus in the Bay Area

Such a wonderful session getting to know our grad, taking her gorgeous photos, and hanging out at a beautiful location! When in doubt, bring the puppy! They add so much fun and joy to the session!
