Capturing 2-year old photos ON her birthday AT a flower garden? YES, PLEASE!
This family is so dear to us and we call them our friends! They wanted to celebrate their little one with a birthday photoshoot! And they wanted flowers so Gamble Garden did not disappoint!
We arrived early to the location scouting out areas and, because it was earlier in the day, all the areas we usually use were in stark sun. So after walking around and semi-freaking out that we wouldn't find a nice spot, the trees parted in the middle of the park like the Red Sea and we came upon a glorious treasure trove of WHITE ROSES! White roses in full bloom...everywhere! It was such a special and intimate spot and we absolutely loved how everything came together!
We were told there were some issues in getting the birthday girl's dress ordered. But it totally worked in their favor when Mama had received her old vintage baby dress from when she was 2 years old! So, Baby Girl was able to wear true vintage and it was way more special and meaningful to capture her in that!
We loved the thought and time put into the outfits. The colors all came together - even down to the special stuffed Kitty Cat given by Grandma as a birthday gift.
Happy Birthday little lady! You are such a joy and we're excited to watch you grow!
