How cute are these two?!

We were so excited in the planning process leading up to this beautiful sunset maternity session. Mama was an amazing communicator and we felt like fast friends already without never even having met each other. So when we arrived at the location it was just like meeting up with friends instead of strangers for the first time.

Mama didn't say a word about the long walk from the parking lot to the cliffs at Cowell Ranch State Beach in Half Moon Bay. She didn't complain at all when we tackled the steep stairs down to the beach. Once we hit the sand, she casually mentioned she'd just come off a couple of weeks of bed rest. Wow, talk about a super-mom! She was a champ while we were huffing and puffing the whole time. She was the sweetest and it was so cute watching dad and mom together and watch the love they have for one another.

We had crossed-fingers that the weather would be good since Half Moon Bay can get a little tricky at times with the forever mist that rolls around, but thankfully, the beautiful golden sun showed up for us.

When we asked if they were cool with going into the water, they didn't hesitate, even when it got a bit chillier as the sun went down. And oh man, we're so glad they did because just LOOK HOW STUNNING THAT OCEAN IS!

We had an amazing time with these two and were so happy they chose us to capture this exciting moment in their lives.
