We love meeting new families and being able to document their first time being parents is such a joy for us! When this couple reached out, they requested a natural, open setting with trees and flowers. So, of course Heritage Orchard was the perfect place. Cherry blossoms were in bloom and we’re suckers for some beautiful landscape!
While going through the planning stages and selecting our location, Mama sent us her outfit ideas and we couldn’t get over how beautiful her color scheme was! If you can’t tell, we love sage and that was her first dress selection. They planned to have their fur baby join the session because she was a part of the family too! (Her name is Churro which is literally the best name!)
After having to reschedule their shoot due to rain, we met up with them at the location and while they were a bit shy at first, after joking a bit and just hanging out with them, they warmed up and we had the BEST time! We had a few photos with Churro in them and - WE KID YOU NOT - she placed her paw on Mama’s belly almost as if she were posing for the photo. Their parents were there to dog-sit in between shots and they were the kindest people. We had so much fun and we couldn’t stop saying how kind and what a sweet couple they were.
