HAWK HILL, MARIN HEADLANDS

Located in the Marin Headlands is a breathtaking outlook over the San Francisco Bay called Hawk Hill. It gives a spectacular view of the Golden Gate Bridge with it's rolling hills and mountains.
Since it is a bit of a drive to the Marin Headlands, be prepared to arrive at your photo session early to make sure you get a parking spot (parking is limited), as well as have sufficient time to trek where we will meet you for your photo session. Make sure to wear sturdy shoes, as there is a mild hike to the Hawk Hill outlook and bring layers as it tends to get windy and cold!
PARKING
Parking is free but limited, and open for public access.
FEES
There are no entrance fees.
ACCESSIBILITY
It is a short, mild hike when walking uphill, so we recommend bringing an extra pair of walking shoes. Bathrooms are available for use until before sunset.
PETS
Pets are allowed on a leash.
DOWNSIDES
There is a mild hike to get to some majestic shots - but they are so worth it!
Since it is next to the San Francisco Bay, it is foggy and overcast the majority of the year and the Golden Gate Bridge may not be visible in the background of your photos. It also gets cold and windy.
Because it's a tourist hotspot, it may be more crowded on weekends so we recommend scheduling your session on a weekday evening.
