Every time we saw this little family, we kept telling ourselves how fun it would be to take their photos! Little sister's rolls, big brother's curls, the love this sweet family has for each other is CUTENESS OVERLOAD! We were so looking forward to taking their family pictures during sunset Rockaway Beach in Pacifica!
Most times, our photo sessions are hurried due to seasonal Mini Sessions or the client having a lot of requests and, while nothing is wrong with that, our Family Sessions allow time to just be together and let us capture your family in their element.
It was a beautiful day in September at Pacifica, and the sun was "just" right! When we asked this family's expectations of the day, they replied "Whatever happens! We trust you guys!" (When we hear our clients TRUST us it makes the photoshoot even better!) So, we let them play in the water and - holy moly - big brother tackled those waves like a champ! We were so surprised how much fun he had literally in the first 5mins of the shoot!
And can we just say, we appreciate when our families are willing to get their feet wet during a beach photoshoot? Not only is it fun, but we absolutely love the joy that comes across in the photos. Mom and Dad were game for anything and willing to go with the flow with what we suggested. They trusted us which gave us freedom to be creative and capture their family in such a loving way.
Our evening ended with a stunning sunset - Come on! We get to call this "work"? We LOVE our jobs!!!! When we said our goodbyes and got in the car, we took a deep breath and looked at each other and smiled at just how awesome that session was.
The Lord definitely had His hand on every detail as we had prayed prior to the session for adequate parking, no issues, not a crowded beach and to get great photos. DONE and DONE!
By far one of our most favorite sessions of 2023. We enjoyed every moment of it!
